For different types of generator sets, most of the current generator sets are equipped with corresponding standard fuel tanks and oil supply systems for users to purchase. At the same time, it can also be designed as a bottom tank according to the requirements of users. It can also be designed into discrete fuel tanks of various capacities according to user requirements. Users can also design their own fuel tanks, but regardless of the fuel tank, the installation design must follow the following principles:

Installation principle:

1) The tank storage location must be safe to prevent fires. The fuel tank or oil drum should be placed separately in a visible place, away from the generator set, and strict smoking is strictly prohibited.

2) The fuel capacity in the fuel tank should be guaranteed daily supply.

3) After the fuel tank is placed, the highest oil level cannot be 2.5 meters higher than the base of the unit. If the oil level of the large oil depot is higher than 2.5 meters, the daily fuel tank should be added between the large oil depot and the unit, so that the pressure of direct oil supply is not more than 2.5 meters. Even when the diesel engine is off, the fuel is not allowed to rely on gravity, and it flows into the diesel engine through the oil inlet line or the injection line.

4) The resistance at the port must not exceed the specified value when using a clean filter as specified on the performance data sheet for the diesel engine used. This resistance value is based on the fuel tank installed with half of the fuel.

5) The fuel return resistance cannot exceed the specifications on the diesel performance data sheet.

6) The connection of the fuel return line should not cause a shock wave in the fuel in the oil pipe.
